How quickly are the reports returned?
Our building and pest reports are written and returned within 24 hours from the time of inspection. Our fully qualified inspectors are readily available to answer any questions or concerns you may have from the report. How much is a Building & Pest inspection for my house?
Please note that the price for a Building and Pest Inspection on the Sunshine Coast can vary depending on the size and type of property.

What is included in the report?
The completed report will include a comprehensive building report, detailed pest inspection report and a findings area. Our reports are in easy to read and written to industry standards AS4349.1-2007 and AS4349.3.
Can I pull out of a house purchase?
Our condition reports are compliant with current Australian standards (AS4349.1-2007 and AS4349.3) and are accepted by real estate agents and conveyancers. If your contract includes special conditions such as ‘offer pending building and pest inspection’, the condition report which we provide will provide proof to pull out of the house purchase.
Are your inspectors qualified, licensed and insured?
Yes! Every inspector that works for Sunshine Coast Building and Pest Inspections is trained, qualified, licensed, and insured. All of the reports we provide are completed in compliance with industry laws, and all inspectors possess the necessary licences to conduct their inspections. The company also has professional indemnity insurance. As a licenced and insured company, you can be confident that all of our building and pest reports are completed in compliance with Australian Standards.
Can I attend a Pest and Building inspection?
Yes of course. We encourage our clients to attend the property on the day of the inspection to ask any questions or seek clarification around the condition of the property they intend to purchase.
What type of equipment do you use for the Pest Inspection?
To detect active or past damage caused by termites or other wood boring insects on Sunshine Coast Properties, we only use the most advanced equipment available to us. These include thermal imaging cameras and moisture detectors and meters.
